What does it take to try harder when you've lost everything?

Everything you know, and now you're left for good...

forsaken...

now that you don't have anything,

what does it take to stand against all odds?

what does it take to swim in this killing flood?

...to be the same you were years ago,

be someone yo knew...? but now, no more...

To smile when disaster is knocking on your door...

WHAT DOES IT TAKE?

What does it take to heal all the scars,

to embrace a loving memory, to move a broken heart..

what does it take...to turn to flesh what once was a stone?,

to make someone feel what you feel, get in their bones...?

We fall, we fall again and again,

and what does it take... to be able to fight this pain...?

Does it take all the tears that we've got left?

or maybe our ilusions, about to melt...

WHAT DOES IT TAKE?

What does it take to never give up?,

even when we're seeing how time swallows us...

while we scream at our enemies and we stay so strong,

knowing that sometimes we will go wrong.

What does it take...to remain sane in an insane world?

does it take a whole research? ...or maybe just a word?

What does it take to stand for our rights?

Whatever it is, we'll put up a fight...

What does it take to give the best of ourselves,

does it take a lifetime? does it take a heaven? does it take a hell?

What does it take to find the reality we seek?,

the one that tells us the truth, the one that really IS,

What does it take for us to say: "It will be okay",

say that we love us, and we'll be there,  no matter what,

seems it takes tons of effort, I won't argue about that...
